Psychoville, created by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith is a dark comedy thriller regarded by some as a follow-up series to The League of Gentlemen, which it shares creative talent and humour with. It aired two series across 2009 and 2011, with a Halloween special in 2010 bridging the two. The series was not recommissioned after its second run.
