Martin Lee was the friend of Benjamin Denton, who only appeared in the first episode "Welcome to Royston Vasey". He is the first victim in the show's narrative to fall victim to Edward and Tubbs Tattsyrup.
Biography[]
Martin arrives in Royston Vasey to meet his friend Benjamin Denton for a hiking trip. He comes across the Local Shop, in which he meets a skittish Tubbs and her abrasive husband Edward. Tubbs makes accusations of Martin trying to make advances on her, and Edward belittles Martin constantly over these allegations. An angry Martin attempts to leave the shop, but is obstructed by Edward who then orders Tubbs to "get undressed". Martin is later murdered and presumably burned by the pair. They kept his clothing and backpack as trophies, with Tubbs wearing his boots.
Over fifteen years later Martin's remains have still not been found as he is still listed as a missing person in the town.
